Questions we are asked
Do I need planning permission for a patio, a driveway or decking?
Often not, but check. As a general guide in England, a patio at ordinary ground level does not; paving more than five square metres of front garden with a surface that does not drain does, unless the water runs to a lawn or border or the paving is permeable; and decking more than 30cm above the ground does. Conservation areas and listed buildings have extra rules. Your council has the final word, and we will tell you what we think applies before we quote.
Do you lay artificial lawns?
Yes. We offer lawns of every kind, artificial lawns included.
What does landscaping cost?
It depends entirely on the garden and on what you choose, so we price it once we have seen the space and agreed what you want. The consultation and the quote are free, with no obligation.
